Cosmetrex, LLC exists to harness physicians' buying power by combining the purchases of individual practices, which in turn impacts the prices charged to those practices. Currently, Cosmetrex operates with the advice and guidance of AACS and the AACS Physician Committee. Cosmetrex relies on the expertise of cosmetic surgeons to inform contracting decisions and services offerings.

Cosmetrex Company Heritage

The brainchild of GNYHA Ventures President Lee H. Perlman and prominent New York–area cosmetic surgeons Dr. Philip C. Bonanno and Dr. Michael H. Rosenberg, F.A.C.S., Cosmetrex, LLC was created to tap into the unrealized potential for savings and efficiency in the cosmetic surgery supply chain.

Dr. Bonanno, a board certified–plastic and reconstructive surgeon, is currently the Director of the Institute of Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine at Northern Westchester Hospital Center and part of the attending staff of the practice of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Rosenberg, a board certified–plastic and reconstructive surgeon, is currently part of the attending plastic surgery staff, Northern Westchester Hospital Center (NWHC) and Institute of Aesthetic Surgery at NWHC. He is also part of the attending staff in plastic surgery at the Westchester Medical Center.
